In a historic and volatile turn of events, Iranian state media has officially confirmed the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The 86-year-old leader, who has ruled Iran since 1989, was killed during a large-scale military operation conducted by the United States and Israel on Saturday.
